Here at Egg Industry, we’re a team of dedicated chicken enthusiasts who have stepped up to help out all struggling poultry keepers. Our team consists of two dedicated chicken enthusiasts namely Jack Adair and John Reid.
Jack Adair was born in the USA and has raised different chicken breeds for nearly 15 years. His love and passion for chickens are unmatched and he’s hoping to join a veterinary school to pursue veterinary medicine.
With immense experience with backyard chickens, Jack Adair is ready to share his knowledge on how to raise healthy and happy chickens.
About myself, I’m John Reid and I am an experienced chicken farmer with over 15 years of experience. I got my experience from my father who is a retired high school teacher and an owner of a large chicken farm. On our farm, my dad raised a wide range of chicken breeds and hybrids.
Here, I got to learn a lot about chicken temperament, chicken behavior, and chicken terminologies. Out of the vast experience, I gathered over the years, I decided to study veterinary medicine (just like Jack Adair) to help my dad and other large-scale chicken farmers in administering the right vaccinations and medicines to their chickens.
Now, after meeting Jack Adair and realizing that we had identical interests and experiences in chicken farming, we decided to merge our ideas and share our experiences in the form of blog postings. That’s how Egg Industry was born.
